What do you guys think of this picture?

BlackButterfly said...: So...three men have graced the cover of Vogue, I think Lebron is the only athlete, this pic did not bother me, but it bothered my husband a tad, he says that Gisele (love her name) looks the white woman that is being taken in Godzilla...even though she's Brazilian.... and Lebron looks too aggressive, and he's not really in a basketball stance....I think it's his facial expression, but this begs the question, when is a picture racist..and to whom, people view things as racist based on their own personal experiences, those....I think this is yet another example of the lack of involvement of minorities in media departments or the surplus, for all we know I'm sure the controversy was intentional to get the spin...much like the taco bell dog and the church's chicken commercial...is the media oblivious to racism.....how do we correct this?; March 28, 2008 at 7:35 AM
